For over two decades, Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center (VVERC) has been a trusted provider of high-quality emergency and specialty care for pets in Winchester, Virginia, and the surrounding areas. Originally founded in 1998 by a group of 19 local veterinarians, our clinic was built on a shared vision: to deliver exceptional veterinary care when primary care practices are unavailable.

Today, VVERC is a 24/7 facility supported by a dedicated team of over 40 veterinary professionals, including full-time emergency doctors, licensed technicians, and support staff. In 2010, we expanded into a state-of-the-art facility- the first of its kind in the region- to better serve the community and their pets.
