CDL Instructor - Home Daily

• 3+ years' OTR experience required unless state law requires additional years of experience.
• Must be able to qualify as a Class A CDL driver by meeting company requirements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Job Responsibilities: What you will do as a CDL Instructor

Our CDL Instructors train and evaluate student drivers ensuring they possess the skills to become a licensed commercial driver. If incumbent has acquired and maintains CDL Examiner certification issued by State, may administer exams as needed.

• Train student drivers on performing safety inspections relating to potential truck/trailer issues.
• Ensure student drivers know how to perform well when driving on upgrades and downgrades.
• Ensure starting and stopping activities.
• Verify they possess a basic knowledge when dealing with situations such as intersections, urban/rural sections, expressways, bridge underpasses, etc.

Pay Range: $60,000+  Annual, depending on experience.
