About the role

TechFlow, Inc. is immediately hiring a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to join our growing Platform Services team. The DPM reports to and supports the Program Manager (PM) in the execution of large complex customer programs. They will manage the daily operations and program management of field service maintenance, logistics, and administrative duties as directed by the PM. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and be well-versed in managing government contracts, ensuring compliance, and delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities


  • Plan and establish program performance baselines for large complex programs
  • Develop strategy to execute the program(s) to achieve technical, cost, and schedule program program/contract requirements.
  • Identify and address program risks and impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to risk management that identifies and documents risks and manages mitigations plans to resolve potential problem issues across all levels of the program.
  • Lead complex teams involving multiple subcontractors, direct and manage subcontract and supply chain elements of the program in a manner that supports program execution, goals and strategy.
  • Capture and implement best practices and lessons learned to track progress and drive continuous improvement processes, execution, and outcomes.
  • Manage resources to include defining needs, priorities and resource allocation based upon program requirements and adjusting resources based on objective program performance data
  • Define program performance metrics and analysis to support forward-looking decision-making based on data analytics
  • Management of program governance processes and deliverables to support customer and internal program requirements, status reviews, and reporting.
  • Collaborating with senior business and technical leaders, and peers (PMs, DPMs, etc.) in the Platform Services Business Unit Program Management Organization (PMO) to help develop a strategic vision and success plan for the PMO organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related Business Management preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in project management to include the following:
    • Leading and managing medium to large program(s)/contract(s)
    • Field maintenance services, operations, integrated logistics, and support functions
  • Experience leading matrixed teams of direct and indirect stakeholders to drive successful program and business outcomes
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 20%


Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience conducting quantitative and qualitative program/project analysis, such as Earned Value Management (EVM), to manage program costs and financial performance
  • Experience managing large program/contract performance and execution across its lifecycle to achieve:
    • Full compliance with all contract requirements
    • Creating high-performance program teams in a blended environment with civilian, government, and contractor personnel
    • Track record of achieving high customer satisfaction (e.g., CPARs or other customer feedback)
  • Success in driving innovation and working with customers to improve program and technical field services delivery
  • Business Development experience, capture through award – with knowledge of Federal Government acquisition processes and rules, including the FAR
