Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems PeopleSoft Developer, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. As a Business Systems PeopleSoft Developer, you will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for [e.g. operating and maintaining or supporting] the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is the team selected by the U.S. Air Force to conduct Test and Operations Sustainment at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee. AEDC operates more than 55 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, space environmental chambers, arc heaters, ballistic ranges and other specialized units located in six states. Many of the complex's test units have capabilities unmatched elsewhere in the United States; some are unique in the world. AEDC is one of three installations which are part of the Air Force Test Center (AFTC), one of six subordinate commands of the Air Force Materiel Command organization, and an important national resource.

 

AEDC’s mission is to conduct developmental test and evaluation for the Nation through modeling, simulation, and ground and flight tests. Execution of the mission requires a large team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals from multiple technical disciplines to effectively accomplish the objectives of our test customers.

         

Job Duties:

  • Provide support in the design, development, sustainment, and support of Government IT Business system/applications including PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle Work Asset Management (OWAM), Oracle Analytics Server, Oracle Access Manager, and JOCAS.
  • Design and modify code, participate in code reviews and develop complex business applications programs.
  • Interface with requirement stakeholders to determine expected application functionality, gather requirements, and suggest technical solutions for business processes.
  • Perform software lifecycle aspects including requirements documentation, application design and design documentation, development, unit testing, and implementation support.
  • Provide Tier 2 end user troubleshooting support for Business Systems through the ticket support system.
  • Support and remediate any critical issues with Business Systems outside of normal assigned shift.
  • Support the use of common work processes and procedures within assigned function across the TOS contract.
  • Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Ensure Cybersecurity requirements are consistently documented, maintained, evaluated and compliant for Government IT system networks including components of systems.
  • Periodically evaluate process and program effectiveness and takes action to maintain continuous improvement.
  • Follows all safety rules and procedures and contributes to the safety of co-workers and the public.
  • Willing and able to follow instructions, assist in training of co-workers, and cooperate with other employees, customers and contractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Engineering, Science, or Information Systems and 2 to 5 years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and progressive and relevant experience.
