We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our EMEAI region and EMEAI Executive Leadership Team. 


This role offers high flexibility, spanning across 6 hours per day, 4 days per week, under a hybrid working model, from our offices in The Hague, Netherlands.


This role will serve as a trusted HR partner across the region, driving recruitment excellence, supporting employee relations, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and delivering a high-quality employee experience aligned with our culture and growth strategy. The HRBP will work closely with the President, EMEAI, while benefiting from mentorship and strategic guidance from the COO. This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Provide direct HR partnership to EELT.
  • Support workforce planning and succession discussions.
  • Assist with compensation reviews, bonus administration, and performance cycles.
  • Ensure alignment between regional HR practices and global standards.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Champion a positive, high-performance culture aligned with Arlon’s values.
  • Support the annual Great Place to Work® process for EMEAI to ensure a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Drive engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms across EMEAI.
  • Support career development conversations and learning initiatives.
  • Ensure employees feel supported, heard, and empowered to succeed.

Talent Acquisition (EMEAI)

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across the EMEAI business.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and build robust candidate pipelines.
  • Manage recruitment agencies and sourcing strategies [LinkedIn Recruiter] across multiple countries.
  • Coordinate with local legal counsel in each European country to ensure compliant employment contracts and hiring practices.
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience aligned with Arlon’s employer brand.
  • Support onboarding to ensure smooth integration and strong first impressions.

Employee Relations & HR Advisory

  • Act as first point of contact for employee matters across EMEAI.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, employee development, employee relation matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Partner with local counsel where required on country-specific employment matters.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and team restructures where required.

Compliance & HR Operations

  • Ensure HR policies are compliant and appropriately localized.
  • Maintain accurate HR records in line with GDPR and regional requirements.
  • Support benefits administration and coordination with local providers.
  • Manage all leave across EMEAI to ensure accurate recording.
  • Coordinate health & safety trainings as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes across the region.


Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience - required
  • Experience supporting multiple European countries - advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of employment law across Ireland required and an interest in broader Europe (working with local counsel where required) required
  • Demonstrated experience managing recruitment (across multiple jurisdictions an advantage).
