About the role

The Team Ambassador is responsible for production operations in certain areas of the plant, which includes Safety, Quality, Service, Cost and People Development. The role carries responsibility for assisting the Team Resource Manager to ensure department Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s) are achieved and improvement plans are in place to reach targets.

 

This role requires knowledge and experience of production management, cGMP/RB quality manual standards, team leadership, EHS application, continuous improvement tools and ensuring all appropriate resources are focused on the delivery of the departments KPI’s

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure production operations are safe and comply with State, Federal regulations, and company policies.
  • Follow procedures for Hazardous, General, and Recycled Waste management and disposal. Support Safety, Health, and Environment policies.
  • Assist with quality investigations, ensuring timely and complete resolution of deviations.
  • Utilize computer management systems.
  • Maintain high focus on service and schedule adherence.
  • Make resource and tactical decisions to improve plant equipment effectiveness, reduce waste, and manage OEE and labor hours.
  • Empower associates to take ownership of work processes, improvement plans, and ensure KPI targets are met.
  • Accountable for break escalation to management to ensure line stability.

The experience we're looking for

  • High School Diploma.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Experience in production management and team leadership.
  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
