About the job you’re considering
We are seeking an experienced IBM Z Systems Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing various z/OS products, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. You will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance system functionality and streamline processes. This role requires strong expertise in mainframe tools, programming languages, and debugging utilities
Your role
· Utilize TSO, ISPF, JCL, and REXX for system programming and automation.
· Configure and use at least one of the following tools: IBM Debugger, Application, Performance Analyzer, Fault Analyzer, File Manager, Dataset Commander.
· Implement and manage IBM z products, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
· Utilize TSO, ISPF, JCL, and REXX for system programming and automation.
· Configure and use at least one of the following tools: IBM Debugger, Application Performance Analyzer, Fault Analyzer, File Manager, Dataset Commander.
· Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
· Collaborate with application developers and operations teams to improve system efficiency.
· Provide support and recommendations for enhancements and upgrades of mainframe systems.
· Utilize and configure Eclipse-based tools where applicable.
Your skills and experience
· Must have 7+ years IBM Z Systems Programming experience
· Extensive mainframe programming & automation experience using TSO and ISPF, JCL, and REXX.
· Experience installing, configuring, implementing and maintaining IBM Z product software solutions.
· Proficiency in at least one of the following: IBM Debugger, Application Performance Analyzer, Fault Analyzer, File Manager, Dataset Commander.
