Job Summary

Performs the various functions required in obtaining, constructing, remodeling, leasing, administering and disposing of the Company’s building facilities and associated properties.

Key Accountabilities

Manages design and construction of corporate facilities/real estateManages project planning and coordination of various projectsManages reviewing and sealing construction documents when required to obtain building permitsManages space planning/interior design and compliance with construction codes including materials and equipmentManages the selection of contractors and consultants to work within established parametersManages applications of financial management, including budgeting and cost controlResponsible for assisting other members of the work unit with the development of construction drawings and contractsManages interface with Cities and building owners for permittingManages interface with Los Colinas Association and building ownersManages oversight of external architects and interior designersManages client relationship by working closely on project design and development and able to review project presentations with clients and end usersManages creation, development, and execution of test fits and space plansManages selection, development, and coordination of materials, finishes, furniture, and artworkManage multiple disciplines includes engineering and specialty consultantsManage site inspections, review of shop drawings, material submittals, and other related construction admin tasks

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Business, Interior Design, Architecture, or similar with 5 years experience working in a corporate environmentPossesses the skills, knowledge, and expertise required to perform the essential aspects of the job as well as any other job specific educational and/or certification requirementsCommercial Interiors and workplace industry expertiseStrong design and space planning skills and experienceProficiency in CAD, Revit, InDesign and Photoshop (other design related programs are a plus).Demonstrated ability to multi-task projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees, including management

Key Metrics

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) softwareProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareExcellent problem-solving, negotiation, financial and consultation skills
