Research Specialist AJob Description Summary
We are looking for a research specialist to work in a fast-paced cancer immunology laboratory. This research specialist will be responsible cellular and molecular studies associated with human immunology including flow cytometry, single cell RNAseq, and spatial transcriptomics. Other aspects of the position include maintenance and expansion of frozen tumor and pbmc stock, and facilitating acquisition of study samples and coordinating operations between the Research lab and various clinical groups and transferring samples to and from the lab.This research specialist will also focus on one main research project; however, he/she will also interact with and assist other members of the lab with a variety of tasks. Thus, abilities to plan complex experiments, multitask, and work independently will be required.

Job Responsibilities
- Drive a research project (collect, analyze and interpret data, and present data at group meetings)
- Help in the general running of the lab, including: ordering, receiving items, and maintaining lab organization
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
