Specifically, the Team Member Experience subdepartment within the Marketing department inspires and equips franchised Operators to offer an elevated applicant and Team Member experience. 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and casting the vision and strategy for the Apparel and Appearance Program which impacts the experience of nearly 400,000 Team Members and Team Leaders each year. You will lead the program in designing, developing, growing, improving and integrating changes into the Apparel and Appearance and associated capabilities for all restaurants. Additionally, you will ensure appropriate solutions for Chick-fil-A domestic locations, international locations, Little Blue Menu and STC Brands, and maintain appropriate Appearance and Apparel solutions across all ordering channels.

 

You will identify, vet and lead multiple vendor relationships to propel the Apparel and Appearance program, aligning with Procurement, Supply Chain and Legal departments to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships between the Chick-fil-A brand and third-parties. Ultimately, in this role you will leverage your strategic influence, leadership and innovative expertise to ensure that both our Team Members and Customers experience an Apparel and Appearance Program that remains a brand differentiator and a competitive advantage for Chick-fil-A, Inc. 

 

As a leader of this program you will partner closely with Senior Leadership throughout the Chick-fil-A Support Center and within the Operator community.  Your team will be at the center of ensuring a best-in-class Apparel and Appearance Program that scales with business growth. The ideal candidate will be well versed in leadership, program management, strategy and influence, and have a passion to maintain an industry-leading apparel program.

Responsibilities

Lead the Program

  • Create short and long-term vision and strategy for an Apparel and Appearance program that scales with business growth.
  • Captain internal Apparel and Appearance Team and cross-functional program team (including internal and external partners).
  • Spearhead the development of best-in-class apparel solutions for the Chick-fil-A brand including franchised and company-owned restaurants within the continental United States, International locations, S. Truett Cathy (STC) Brands, Little Blue Menu, Chick-fil-A Delivery, and Chick-fil-A Field Talent Staff.
  • Provide leadership on key cross-functional partnerships to move complex work from inception to completion.
  • Ensure program assets honor and bring to life the Chick-fil-A brand for both internal and external audiences in way (the Chick-fil-A brand has a very specific and nuanced approach).
  • Lead product selection across the entire portfolio.
  • Provide day-to-day Apparel and Appearance Program management oversight across a comprehensive portfolio of suppliers and products.
  • Lead in translating the Apparel and Appearance Program’s strategic direction into tactical plans and implementation activities.
  • Set Apparel and Appearance Program priorities, processes and KPIs (includes Product Lines, Service Processes and Technology.
  • Define and maintain clear, relevant and equitable appearance standards for Team Members, Operators and Customers and ensure alignment with broad organizational standards.
  • Lead budget and planning process for Apparel and Appearance Program.

 

Manage Strong Partnerships: 

 

  • Identify, recommend and lead multiple best-in-class vendor relationships to drive relevant solutions and flawless execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with current apparel vendors.
  • Partner with vendors to build a roadmap that meets the needs of Chick-fil-A, Operators and Team Members both now and in the future including capabilities and technology.
  • Continuously measure Apparel and Appearance Program impact and regularly readout results to senior stakeholders.
  • Setup and manage field listening tools to understand Operator, Team Member, Team Leader and Customer voice on Apparel and Appearance.
  • Draw connections and boundaries with relevant Chick-fil-A, Inc work that leverages apparel
