Senior Front End Developer - Clearance Desired

Overview

LMI is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to support a growing fast-paced agile project team. This position may be remote. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement front-end features and user interfaces. 
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Javascript, HTML, and CSS. 
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize for desktop and mobile. 
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experience across various screen sizes. 
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging. 
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices. 
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to project planning and estimation. 
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. 

Qualifications

Required:

• SENIOR LEVEL: 10+ years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree or 7 years relevant experience and a MS degree in computer science or systems engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as Vue, React, and/or Angular.
• Experience with responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, for which one must be a US citizen. 

Desired:

• Agile, Lean, DevOps, Cloud, Security+ or other professional certification.
• Familiar with DoD IT standards and federal security standards strongly desired.
• Experience with back-end technologies such as C# .NET, Java, Python, and/or NodeJS.
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services or equivalent.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze data.
• Experience working in a consultant/client environment.
