Summary/objective
This is a Team lead position. This position will be directly responsible for supervising and managing the daily operations within the automated QC department. Ensure staff have executed the required Inspection and maintenance plans/QC Programs and is ultimately responsible for the final quality and throughput of the department. Will participate and be involved in all development training of staff. Will ensure automated fixture cleaning & testing with final verification on all newly received products within branch and all quality control checks have been completed and executed; Ensuring assets are ready for all outbound shipments
Supervisory responsibilities
Coordination of team members and maintain schedules
Essential functions
- Staff are maintaining and entering all factory acceptance testing and QC documentation
- Maintains accurate parts lists for all related equipment within department
- Ensures maintenance policies and procedures are met and related paperwork is in order
- Ensures all equipment QC deadlines are met
- Intermediate understanding of Control software and operation
- Leads internal training with entry level personnel
- Leads by example and encourages subordinates and peers to perform work in a safe manner, wear proper PPE, adhere to safety standards and policies, and remain accident free.
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of products and solutions used in discipline
- Microsoft suite of Office products
- Able to lead a team
- Communication to members of team and management staff
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities for this job may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus, with or without the use of glasses or contact lenses.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to follow spots and moving lights, loud noises, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects up to 75 pounds, as necessary.
- Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and in both written and verbal forms.
- Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
Travel required
- Less than 25% of the time. Occasional presence needed on show site.
- Must have valid Driver’s License
Required education and experience
- 3+ years of Automated Lighting repair experience
- Advanced understanding of standard electrical procedures for safety, knowledge of standard electronic test equipment and basic A/C, D/C and digital circuit operation.
- Developed electrical basics & fundamentals in troubleshooting
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent

The pay range for this position is estimated to be $19.00 to $24.00 per hour. Actual salary to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant combined with location and alignment with market data.
