As a Security Professional - Telecom Facility Patrol - Full Time in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management to help deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you interact with. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Screen individuals entering the location, verifying credentials and monitoring for prohibited items as per site protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site management.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding incidents, concerns, and/or unusual activities.
• Support regular and/or random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to the unique needs of a technology-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
