Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect

Samsung SDS recently launched a customizable enterprise platform; the Samsung Cloud Platform offering cloud services optimized for the various business needs of corporate customers who demand security, safety, and availability within IT operations.

Samsung SDS America is looking for experienced Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect to join our growing Cloud Business team to drive the greenfield cloud project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions for our enterprise customers, as well as get involved in building Samsung Cloud Platform ecosystem, application modernization, and other initiatives.

This role requires expertise in cloud architecture, cloud migration, and technical capability development. The Enterprise Cloud Architect will act as a technical advisor and be a key player in driving customer success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop cloud solutions that meet the needs of enterprise customers.
• Design and implement cloud architecture that supports the customer's goals and objectives.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and help customers transition to the cloud.
• Act as a technical advisor to customers and provide guidance on cloud-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive go-to-market initiatives.
• Act as a cloud evangelist and promote the benefits of cloud technology.
• Create technical blueprints for customers to support their cloud migration.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and trends, and share knowledge with customers and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience with enterprise IT architectures.
• Previous experience working with manufacturing customers required.
• Strong technical skills and experience with cloud technologies, especially hybrid cloud.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Deep expertise in PaaS / SaaS solutions, mobile technologies, and related technologies.
• Strong record of delivering results with deep business impact.
• Passion for pushing technical boundaries, track record of advocacy and persuasion.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills; proven ability to work effectively with technical contributors, management and executive leadership.
