Duties include:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, while always treating each individual with kindness and respect
- Preparing nutritious meals and providing feeding assistance with patience, encouragement, and compassion
- Performing light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Providing mobility assistance, transfers, and lifting support while prioritizing client safety, comfort, and dignity
- Building meaningful relationships with clients through attentive, compassionate care
Required:
- Manual Hoyer Experience
- 1–3 years of caregiving experience
- Ability to physically assist clients with mobility and transfers
- Reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to listen, empathize, and provide attentive support to seniors
- Experience with gait belt transfers
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices and a willingness to continue learning and growing professionally
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must be 21+ years old for company insurance purposes involving client transportation
