Certified Nurse's Assistant - Assisted Living | PRN

Work Title: Certified Nurse Asst. (Assisted Living)

Work Hours: Various Shift with high need for evening shift, 8 hour shift

Work Schedule: PRN, Various Days & Every other weekend

Rate of Pay: $19 - 25, depending on experience

Shift Differential: $1.50 per hour (evening/overnight shifts)

This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. All private rooms, beautiful environment with tenure staff.   Essential Job Duties:

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
• Transfers, transports and escorts residents as need.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an Illinois State approved nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. 
• Registration with Illinois State registry required.
