OT Cybersecurity Lead

Overview

Chick-fil-A, Inc. has a stated intent to expand business interests through the creation of complementary, expansive and innovative domestic and global entity businesses. Chick-fil-A International, Chick-fil-A Supply, Bay Center Foods are current entity businesses that have emerged from this strategy. This requires technology to support the diverse business environments and requirements inherent in global expansion (multi-lingual, multi-currency, etc.) and vertical integration through entity businesses.

 

This role will design and deliver solutions that proactively eliminate Cybersecurity risks in the Chick-fil-A Entities' manufacturing and distribution environments. Through partnerships with technical and operational teams in the Chick-fil-A Entities and the others in Cybersecurity, this role will help design and build new preventative cybersecurity controls that keep entity systems safe and operations running in our manufacturing and distribution environments.

 

The role will report to the Entity Technical Services (ETS) Common Services leader, serve as part of the ETS Common Services team and will partner closely with others in the ETS team and within the larger Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) department. The position is based in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Be the SME for Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity
• Work with network team as new facilities networks are being designed to ensure adherence to industry security standards
• Be the SME for incident response within OT environments
• Use the OT monitoring system to keep eyes on threats to OT environments and help operations teams remediate identified risks
• In partnership with ETS cybersecurity engineering, design and implement new remote access solutions to access equipment at facilities
• Serve as the SME for cybersecurity during OEM and OT vendor evaluations, planning, and design sessions
• Work closely with operations/controls teams to be sure security services don’t interrupt operations of plant process
• Partner closely with the incident response team to serve as their point of contact for observe malicious behavior in our OT environments
• Assist the team in building new detections for that activity

Minimum Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud providers and the use of security tooling in each environment
• Familiarity with the architecture of manufacturing networks and deep understanding of industrial controls systems communication protocols
• Skills in delivering cybersecurity monitoring capabilities using detection capabilities in network traffic
• Ability to design new security systems, build credibility and influence with engineering teams, design new cybersecurity preventative controls, and learn new platforms and technologies
• Technically proficient in keeping cybersecurity and other enterprise systems running, healthy, and secure
• Ability and willingness to learn complex cybersecurity concepts and work with teams to implement overall cybersecurity initiatives
• Understanding of AWS services and ability to prototype new capabilities in AWS environments
• Analytical problem solving
• Cybersecurity Certifications (e.g. OSCP, GSEC, CEH, CISSP, Security+, AWS Security Specialty)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in one or more of the following roles: ICS/OT Cybersecurity Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer
