Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to design, maintain, and innovate next-generation mobile C-arms, involving Power Engineering, Control Systems, Medical Device Safety, EMC/EMI Compliance, PCB Design, Communications, Wireless Devices, and Embedded Systems! We want you to have experience in power systems and medical devices, supporting product improvements like component redesigns, supplier qualifications, and reliability improvements, while collaborating with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams. This role offers an opportunity to expand coordination skills in a high-impact environment, while exhibiting strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to meet design objectives within critical timelines! Key Responsibilities:

Design and support electrical subsystems for mobile X-ray systems, including power electronics and analog/digital boards.

Lead schematic capture, layout review, design validation, and technical design reviews.

Resolve manufacturing and field issues, support product reliability improvements, and complete redesigns due to obsolescence or supplier changes.

Drive design improvements in manufacturability, serviceability, and cost.
Required Skills:
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of hardware experience.

Demonstrate expertise in sustaining engineering-analog, digital, mixed circuit design, and power supply design.

Proficient in PCB design, schematic capture, circuit simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, Matlab, SPICE), and leading all aspects of PCB manufacturing.

Skilled in bench testing, solving PCB prototypes, and integrating hardware components within complex systems.

Familiar with UL/ETL/IEC standards, EMC solutions, serial communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet), and lab equipment (Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters).
