We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for the safe, quality, and cost-effective execution of maintenance work in all maintenance craft areas for a specified Freeport Block. In this role, you will direct the activities of BASF and contract employees while removing barriers to facilitate work execution productivity, for Routine, Turnaround, and Outage maintenance. You will provide expertise to support maintenance, operations, and capital project activities. Additionally, you will ensure a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN Manufacturing tools. The scope for this role is all mechanical work. 

As a Sr. Multi-Craft Maintenance Supervisor, You Create Chemistry By...

 

• Partnering with key stakeholders to develop goals for staff and execution teams to support department objectives, driving implementation, monitoring effectiveness, and taking necessary actions to meet objectives.
• Managing personnel items including annual goals/objectives, feedback, discipline, conflict resolution, and clear communication.
• Performing troubleshooting, repair consultation, and support for mechanical and/or instrument systems, and participating in Root Cause Analyses.
• Coordinating with Operations for work prioritization, use of SAP for work order management, and ensuring cost-effective completion of maintenance activities.
• Coordinating activities of 3rd party contractors as needed and providing overall leadership and direction to crafts for safe and effective execution of work.
• Ensuring workplace health and safety, promoting safety programs and behaviors, and providing daily communications on maintenance status and best practices.

• Education and/or work experience in petrochemical maintenance
• Proven leadership skills
• Broad-based, hands-on knowledge and experience with mechanical and/or instrument systems
• Ability to coordinate with Operations and manage maintenance budget
• Experience coordinating activities of 3rd party contractors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
