This job provides administrative and analytic support in the management of department programs and projects; maintains and assures accuracy of required data and information in support of assigned programs and projects; assures accuracy of applied charges, identifies and resolves issues related to expense allocation and assures the accuracy of the recording of funds; and works in partnership and collaboration with internal and external programs and supports department strategies and goals.

Education 

Required - High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Healthcare Management, Business Management or related field

Preferred - Additional degrees,  experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications


Work Experience

Required - Five years experience in financial analysis position

Preferred - Experience in healthcare. 

Preferred - Fluent verbal and written communications in both English and Spanish
 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, keyboard, and various software packages specific to role.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Experience working independently, working calmly in a high pressure situation, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Good organizational and judgement skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory and accrediting agency standards.


Job Duties

  • Manages logistics and data of assigned programs and projects.
  • Develops and maintains accounting and scheduling systems for effective ongoing management of assigned programs/projects.
  • Tracks and maintains contracts/affiliation agreements and related billing processes for assigned programs/projects
  • Performs and supports required program audit activities in collaboration with Manager. 
  • Participates in activities for professional growth and maintains required knowledge and skills.
