Description
The School of Nursing at Cedar Crest College is accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position focusing primarily on didactic and clinical instruction in medical surgical adult nursing. The position also involves related duties such as college committee work, School of Nursing departmental duties, student recruitment and advisement, and continuing professional development. A multi-million- dollar state-of-the-art Nursing Simulation Center and an integrated Standardized Patient program provide realistic practice settings and complement student learning.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an MSN (required), doctorate is preferred; and possess an unencumbered RN license in PA. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of three years of clinical experience and prior classroom teaching experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills as a member of the School of Nursing are essential. Candidates with prior experience with program and curriculum development are strongly preferred.
