We have a great opportunity for a Business Analyst II based in Bryn Mawr, PA!

This role provides technical and analytical expertise, as well as troubleshoots issues and problems that arise. The analyst manages and monitors field operations utilizing various technology systems. Lastly, they research best practices and support developing solutions for the company’s operations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Primary Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create system solutions that support overall business strategies.  Uses business intelligence applications to monitor and manage operational data.
  • Manages and prepares operational reports. Distributes management reports in accordance with departmental timelines, providing operational analyses and insights into the data.
  • Researches best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for current business operations covering workflow optimization and process improvements.  Prepares and presents recommendations to the leadership team for decision-making.  Implements approved changes.
  • Assists in refining processes and application programs while supporting daily workload distribution, adjusting as needed and handling schedules for staff and customers.
  • Leads training efforts, testing, and content development to support the company’s field management and dispatch application, work order management system and supporting mobile platforms.
  • Develops and delivers training to operations teams in systems processes, procedures, and applications.
  • Develops close working partnerships with operations management and internal teams including field teams, customer operations, meter operations, IT, HR, Engineering, Compliance, Safety and other internal departments.
  • Represents and leads the department on team projects.
  • Communicates information and clearly and accurately identifies data problems and challenges.  Responds to questions and concerns, providing clarification as needed.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (Required Experience, Education, Licenses, and Certifications)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-4 years related analytical experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: (Examples below)

  • Strong working knowledge and expertise in the company’s field management and dispatch application, work order management system and supporting mobile platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint applications.  Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Basic knowledge and proficiency in the use of ESRI GIS software desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with internal customers
