Job Description

As a Security Professional - Logistics Access Patrols in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to provide reassurance, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or issues to the appropriate personnel as required.
• Collaborate with logistics and distribution staff to support the smooth flow of operations while maintaining security-related standards.
• Assist visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel with access procedures and provide information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
