About the role

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

The Manager R&D PX, Operations and Analytics role is a key member of the R&D PX Leadership Team. This role provides operational and project management support for all major PX initiatives within R&D. Reporting directly to the VP, PX R&D, the position supports Organization Development (OD) and PX Leads across the business. The role will contribute to a range of projects, deliver data and analytics support, and drive initiatives at both the PX and R&D line levels.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

  • Manage PX data reporting and analytics, including monthly reports, data collection, analysis, and presentation of actionable insights.

  • Lead program management activities: plan projects, track deliverables, and coordinate communications.

    • Partner with PX leads and the L&D team to monitor and support EDGE programs. Partner with L&D lead to maintain master L&D file.

    • Analyze Pfizer Pulse survey results and coordinate upcoming survey activities.

    • Serve as the main contact for Executive Coaching and Better Up programs.

    • Manage purchase orders for executive coaching and other partnerships as needed.

    • Support R&D PX strategy teams overall management and work as crew member on retention workstream.

  • Collaborate with PX partners to assess business needs (e.g., workforce and talent planning) and deliver relevant, accurate analytics using appropriate technologies.

  • Assist in implementation of OD solutions and programs to optimize divisional performance, including forums, talent reviews, and coaching opportunities.

  • Respond to enterprise and leadership requests by preparing ad-hoc workforce models, projections, diagnostics, and regular reports to support decision-making.

  • Troubleshoot complex PX issues and drive resolution.

  • Work with colleagues to access data, leverage systems, and share best practices and tools for strategic and efficient performance. This includes collaborating with data analysts using Visier and Medallia and meeting regularly with the People Insights team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 3 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience, preferably including Human Resources

  • Strong project management and organizational skills (big picture and detail orientation).

  • Must possess innovative, integrative problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Resourceful, creative, focused on simplicity, and comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Strong analytical capabilities to mine, organize and interpret human capital/organizational data, as to provide insights and decision support.

  • Proven team player who effectively collaborates across functions and divisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organization. 

  • Anticipates what needs to get done and takes the initiative and can work independently.

  • Strong discretion and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential information and situations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Results oriented with a commitment to quality and performance.

  • Knowledge of HR policies, practices and programs.
