Fully Remote Residential Electrical Designer

We are seeking a skilled Residential Electrical Designer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems for residential buildings, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements. As a Residential Electrical Designer, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality electrical designs for various residential projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for residential buildings, including single-family homes, multi-family dwellings, and condominiums.
• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in residential electrical design.
• Provide technical support during construction, addressing any design-related issues or modifications as needed.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper installation and implementation of electrical designs.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on completed projects to verify compliance with design standards and specifications.
• Prepare documentation and reports for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and regulatory authorities.
• Participate in project meetings, presenting design concepts and providing input on electrical design considerations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years residential MEP design experience
