Responsibilities
Our Systems Engineer, Senior Advisor will perform the below tasks:
- Work directly with the customer to set the technical direction, planning, execution and priority for the program
- Coordinate efforts across internal teams
- Establish and implement training processes for all technical personnel
- Host and attend technical exchanges and internal briefings across teams
- Evaluate existing process, look for efficiencies and implement improvements
- Assist with team coordination and planning meetings
- Provide direct written input into weekly reports
- Capture and present metrics and team progress
- Assist with Confluence page presence
- User Collaboration/ Outreach/ Support - in collaboration with the outreach team
- Project Roadmaps (1 year +)
- Managing schedules - planning outage/ deployment/ on call rotations
- Developing and managing SOPs
- Recommending, validating, and monitoring technical documentation
- Serve as POC / backup in supporting new hire on boarding process
- Directly interface with TTO lead as required
Qualifications
Position requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
- Twelve (12) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required
- Bachelor’s degree inSystem Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, orrelated discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience maybe substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- A technical background in system engineering or software development
- Experience leading and managing technical performers and/ or teams
- Strong managerial experience when it comes to both analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Experience with Jira/ Confluence Atlassian tools
- Experience working in an agile development environment would benefit this candidate
- Candidates are expected to be in the office during core hours between 10 and 2
- The primary team is in Emerson 6, but a lead needs to be successful communicating and collaborating withteam members in a different state

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
