Return Tickets Room Clerk

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Braintree Ticket Return Room (TRR) Supervisor, the incumbent will perform a variety of duties for the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission’s Return Ticket Room operations such as the receiving, logging, scanning and safeguarding of all returned instant tickets; the processing and distributing Charitable game orders; and other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Receive and open secure bags of tickets, sorting and inspecting books.
• Scan books into Ticket Return possession via E.S. Portal.
• Daily check off list of all returned tickets in TRR possession.
• Transfer of scanned tickets from TRR to warehouse via E.S. Portal prior to distribution.
• Organize instant ticket returns into their correct zones for next day distribution.
• Process Charitable Gaming statewide orders for pickup and distribution via UPS/FedEx.
• Receive and record all UPS/FedEx Returns
• Notify supervisor of any problems or issues of Return Ticket Room operations
• Perform related duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency with working with numbers
• Detailed oriented
• Must be capable of bending, lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts State Driver’s license.
