Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is seeking a dedicated Regional Aftersales Manager to coordinate and implement strategic plans for dealer service and parts operations. In addition, you will lead and develop field service staff to assist Mitsubishi Motors dealers with the implementation of initiatives and processes that result in a well-managed, profitable operation. This is your chance to contribute to the success of a renowned automotive brand and make a significant impact on aftersales excellence.  Location of Position:

The ideal candidate must be located in the Southeast Region, this includes FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, SC, NC, KY, VA, WV & LA. Travel within the Region will be expected. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer parts and service training programs (such as inventory control, MMNA policies and procedures, customer management, and parts and service management) for dealer personnel, which support the dealer, region and MMNA’s business plan objectives.
  • Provide expertise to RASM and DPSM field force on all customer handling initiatives and processes
  • Manage National Service Process initiatives in order to build a consistent Mitsubishi aftersales brand.
  • Ensure that aftersales operations improvement goals (profitability, customer pay business, CSI, warranty administration, parts and accessory sales, etc.) are attained.  Coordinate with RASM and DPSMs on the activities related to dealer upgrades of poor performing dealers  
  • Manage the process and prepare service and parts documentation for dealer terminations.
  • Manage and direct RASM and DPSMs for New Dealer start-ups to ensure consistent and successful implementation of aftersales operations processes.
  • Conduct joint contacts with RASM and DPSMs to implement initiatives that maximize dealer’s service and parts sales, operational effectiveness, and profitability.
  • Monitor and advise region management of dealer adherence to MMNA Corporate Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage the activities of work groups’ members by providing opportunity for growth and development, by fostering an environment of open, honest communications, teamwork, creativity and high involvement producing a productive efficient team.
  • Calmly respond in highly stressful business conditions and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Meet stated deadlines while delivering quality results.
  • Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 + years professional exempt-level automotive retail/wholesale experience, including experience as a District Service and/or Parts Manager.
  • BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Automotive retail experience such as Parts, Customer Service, or Service Manager.
  • Formal training in such areas as sales techniques, financial statement analysis, inventories management and related marketing and advertising.
