Job Description

Pay Rate: $34.49 / Hour

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday; 4:00 pm – 3:30 am, Night shift, Full-Time
6%-8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked
Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Commitment to Safety process, knowledge, and participation
Assist in training operators in sanitation needs
Manage the Reverse Osmosis (RO) units, GAC, Batching skid, CIP skid and other water process equipment (filter changes, cleaning in Place, daily readings, maintenance. etc.)
Able to perform preventive maintenance (PM)
Work with the sanitation/hygiene coordinator and maintenance to manage and maintain water processing, RO units, low ozone system, mineral skids, chemical inventories, and micron filters
Perform Clean in Place (CIP) according to schedule and able to troubleshoot
Ensure compliance with all Quality Programs
Perform checks according to Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance
Lead and drive all food safety initiatives to ensure the production of safe and quality products
Assist and maintain compliance with Quality, Food Safety, and Food Defense program
CIP program monitoring, maintenance, training, record keeping, and optimization/assessment
Monitor and maintain overall hygienic condition, zoning and brush programs
Participate and Lead in Problem Solving Teams
Understanding of quality systems and processes and commitment to Safety process, knowledge, and participation
Ability to learn and adapt to changing environment
Manage Batching to ensure meeting operation needs
Supporting operations department as required by filling in for break relief or employee absences as needed
Other duties and projects as assigned by Management
Plan and communicate Clean in Place (CIP) schedule with system owner
EIT data uploaded into SAP for confirmations
Process Improvement leader on floor including proactive coaching on safety, quality, production and cost
Perform quality checks and interpret quality data
Read and use manual diagrams
Utilize mathematics (multiplication, division, averages, and percentage calculations)
Good communication skills to maintain a winning attitude with all team members
Operate a forklift as needed

Qualifications

• Strong computer, mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Solid computer skills, including the use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise management software (SAP).
• Some knowledge / experience in water processing activities (RO units, low ozone system, mineral skids, chemical inventories, and micron filters)
• Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively.
• Ability and drive to learn water processing functions
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing environment
• Must exhibit strong leadership skills and initiative
• Must be flexible with work hours to accommodate production demands
• Ability to move/lift 50 lbs. various times over a 12 hour shift, basic math and reading skills
