As a Business Process Analyst, you’ll be responsible for determining the appropriate pricing for company products based on a variety of factors. You’ll be focuses on conducting market research to learn more about competitor pricing for similar items, reviewing previous sales data and company revenue needs, and deciding a market price for a range of products based on findings. 

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain general and customer pricing catalogs with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Resolve daily pricing inquiries from multiple functional internal groups and external customers.
  • Partner with IT to drive process improvements to automation of quoting system. 
  • Preparation and execution of annual pricing adjustments.
  • Perform margin analysis on existing work.
  • Support bidding activity on new opportunities by developing pricing and tracking win/loss rates.
  • Participate in cross-functional team to address profitability evaluations of capabilities.
  • Interact with and advise various functional groups and remote locations.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in analytics, economics, business, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • One or more years of experience in Data Analysis, Finance, or Business Development roles required.
  • One or more years of experience working with pricing.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience with an ERP/MRP system and a strong understanding of Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with interest in process improvement.
  • Ability to work independently - multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in order to meet deadlines.
