As a Business Process Analyst, you’ll be responsible for determining the appropriate pricing for company products based on a variety of factors. You’ll be focuses on conducting market research to learn more about competitor pricing for similar items, reviewing previous sales data and company revenue needs, and deciding a market price for a range of products based on findings.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain general and customer pricing catalogs with a high degree of accuracy.
- Resolve daily pricing inquiries from multiple functional internal groups and external customers.
- Partner with IT to drive process improvements to automation of quoting system.
- Preparation and execution of annual pricing adjustments.
- Perform margin analysis on existing work.
- Support bidding activity on new opportunities by developing pricing and tracking win/loss rates.
- Participate in cross-functional team to address profitability evaluations of capabilities.
- Interact with and advise various functional groups and remote locations.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in analytics, economics, business, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- One or more years of experience in Data Analysis, Finance, or Business Development roles required.
- One or more years of experience working with pricing.
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Previous experience with an ERP/MRP system and a strong understanding of Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with interest in process improvement.
- Ability to work independently - multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in order to meet deadlines.
