Vice President of Operations - PharmacyTrustRx, a subsidiary of Healthcare.com, is a premier workers’ compensation pharmacy, dedicated to delivering doctor-prescribed medications to injured workers, auto accident victims and others without worry, expense or delay.
The Vice President of Operations - Pharmacy will provide operational leadership across the entire pharmacy to execute the strategic direction of the company. TrustRx, an Arizona-based Workers' Compensation Pharmacy, works closely with doctors, attorneys, and patients to provide access to care in an efficient manner with the objective of a high level of customer and partner satisfaction. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including financial oversight, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing pharmacy operations, and overseeing pharmaceutical protocols. The ideal candidate will drive excellence in service delivery, team management, and will play a crucial role in enrollment and retention initiatives.
Responsibilities:1. Financial Management:○ Oversee the pharmacy's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting,and financial reporting.○ Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising servicequality.2. Compliance Oversight:○ Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations related to workers'compensation pharmacy services.○ Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance.3. Operational Excellence:○ Oversee all pharmacy operations, including the enrollment and retentionprocesses.○ Implement operational strategies and tactical plans to meet and exceed companyexpectations.4. Pharmaceutical Oversight:○ Supervise the procurement, storage, and dispensing of medications.○ Ensure quality control and safe dispensing practices are consistently followed.5. Team Management:○ Lead and mentor the pharmacy team, fostering a culture of excellence andcontinuous improvement.○ Collaborate with HR on recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.6. Service Delivery:○ Ensure exceptional service delivery to clients, meeting their pharmaceuticalneeds related to workers' compensation.○ Address any service-related concerns or complaints promptly.7. Strategic Planning:○ Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the pharmacy'sstrategic direction.○ Monitor industry trends and make recommendations for innovative practices ortechnologies.8. Vendor Management:○ Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize service delivery andstreamline pharmacy operations.○ Negotiate contracts and monitor performance to ensure cost-effectiveness andquality of services provided.
Requirements:● Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.● In Arizona or willingness to relocate to Arizona● Knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and industry best practices.● Proven track record of financial management and operational excellence.● Strong leadership and team management skills.● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
