Qualifications Required for the Job: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education/Certification:
Bachelors degree required - Preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or Law
Advanced degree preferred
Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire
Insurance license required 6 months of hire
CFP® or CFA designation in accordance with firm policy
Years of Relevant Experience:
7+ years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
Functional Skills:
Personal initiative and ability to collaborate
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to lead small groups and present findings in a clear and concise manner
Ability to lead a client meeting
Exceptional organizational skills
Understanding of Financial Advisor and Branch Team Support Member(s) processes including the implementation of Core wealth, Banking, and Financial Planning offerings
Understanding and alignment with the firm values, beliefs, policies, procedures as well as business objectives
Proficiency using financial planning software or tools and interpreting results
Ability to interpret and leverage firm advice and guidance to support the branch in creating a tailored solution for each client.
Understanding of financial planning concepts and strategies
Problem Solving:
Problems faced by associates in this role tend to be advanced, complex and unstructured. Achieve results independently and occasionally through others.
