Accounts Payable Lead (Temp to Hire)

Position Summary:

The position requires the employee to lead, mentor, and coach the accounts payable staff to ensure invoices
are processed and paid timely and accurately. Responsible for helping the team research discrepancies and
works with many different departments and vendors in many different countries. Must be extremely detail
oriented, willing to learn, and be a team player

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead, mentor, and coach the accounts payable staff
• Processing wire/electronic payments internationally
• Understanding of requirements for international/overseas shipments/business
• Audit and post PO and Non-PO invoices
• Create and review payment proposals
• Perform monthly closing procedures
• Run weekly reports
• Assist the AP staff with questions
• Resolve invoice issues with Transportation, Customer Service, Inventory, Purchasing, etc.
• Special projects as assigned

Position Requirements:

• 3 - 4 years of accounting experience (Accounting courses +)
• Experience and understanding in processing invoices internationally; required documentation, charges, etc.
• Bilingual is preferred
• Lead/mentoring experience
• SAP experience is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word (vlookups, pivot tables)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good written and verbal communication
• Strong people skills and communications skills
• Must be proactive and have a strong sense of urgency
• Must perform well under pressure
• Must be a team player and able to work with other individuals outside the department
• Must be able to recognize and meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly
• Willingness to perform other departmental or cross-departmental duties as required
• Superior attention to detail

Base Pay Range $28.00 per hour
