Summary of Job Duties:

The Registered Specialty Nurse is an experienced Registered Nurse with advanced clinical trauma nursing experience who will be responsible for chart abstraction, evaluation of clinical patient care, and compliance with performance improvement outcome measurements. The Registered Specialty Nurse works under the supervision of the Trauma Program Director.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.

• Three (3) or more years of nursing experience

• Registered RN license in the State of Arkansas

• Trauma Nursing Core Course(TNCC/ATCN) Instructor (may be obtained within two (2) years of employment)

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN

• Three (3) years of relevant trauma experience

• Trauma Nurse Specialist  

• Trauma-related performance Improvement experience
