Production Scheduler (m/f/d)

Position Summary

As the global market leader in providing health care solutions to patients in need of cardiac surgery solution we are looking for a Master Production Scheduler. In this role, you act as an overall planner and develop production plans based on customer orders, taking the forecast into account. They connect with production, planning, marketing and sales to clarify and resolve any backlogs and other potential disruptive factors in the schedule.

General Responsibilities

Responsibility for displaying production plans in the ERP system

• Development of a production forecast simulation
• Implementation of the forecast figures in the ERP system
• Analysis of the relevant forecast figures for internal and external partners
• Planning of series and spare parts requirements within the planning horizon
• Alignment of customer needs with production capacities
• Strong communication within the value stream
• Driving the “Frozen Zone” strategy

Responsible for new launches and phase-out planning

• Carrying out a phase-out simulation based on defined criteria
• Transition to post-series support

Key user for the ERP and PPS system at the site in all modules

• Establishment of a competence center for data management at the location
• Integration of data evaluation in the LivaNova business system

Close collaboration with

• Master Demand Planner to align mid- and long-term planning
• Production planning and Production management to align short- and mid-term planning
• Controlling on budget planning and inventory management
• Global supply and demand planning to stabilize a frozen zone strategy

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, economics or comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in production planning and control or in a similar context
• Good knowledge of customer order processing, production planning and control
• Professional communication with international internal and external contacts
• Experience in problem analysis of complex relationships
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, SQL or comparable programming knowledge is an advantage
• Hands on and straight forward
