ABOUT THE ROLE
To execute purchase to pay activities for purchases as pre-defined by Procurement Policies and Procedures (Buyways)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). 
• Unloads and receives parts and supplies
• Identifies, records and places parts and supplies in proper warehouse location
• Picks up special parts/supplies and emergency type items from local suppliers
• Conducts annual physical inventory
• Issues parts and supplies as required by maintenance and operating personnel
• Adds new items to inventory control system
• Institutes daily and monthly inventory control computer reports
• Packages and ships parts to be repaired
• Deletion and removal of obsolete inventory
• Prepares bill of lading shipping forms
• Resolves freight shipping discrepancies
• Other duties as assigned.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
Education: Associate's degree or years of equivalent experience.
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Finance/Accounting, Purchasing Techniques.
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years
Required Computer and Software Skills: SAP experience preferred or a similar purchasing program. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft computer program skills.
Travel Requirements: 0-10%

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
