About the TeamOur Commercial New Logo Account Executive team is responsible for managing the deal cycles from generation to close for new customers in our Commercial space (1-1,500 Employees).
Our team works closely with the Sales Development Representatives and Solution Consultants assigned to our territory. Our team enjoys learning new sales trends & methodologies, going to industry events, subscribing to blogs/podcasts, reading books, and researching case studies so we can grow together. Our team works closely together to champion our customers, share success stories, and in our daily team huddles we celebrate our wins and share goals.
The RoleThe Director, Commercial New Logo Sales  will lead a team of 4-5 AE Managers who each are responsible for 6-8 AE’s.
Location: Seattle, Atlanta or New York with in-office expectations of 3-4 days a week. 

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Set clear standards and expectations for Sales Managers with regards to job performance and company values
  • Provide coaching to Sales Managers as they lead their team of AE’s to improve their execution of Outreach sales practices and process, optimize their performance to quota attainment, and exemplify our core company values
  • Maintain and further a culture of AE prospecting.
  • Help attract and retain future Account Executives as needed. Proactively monitor and measure sales activity and financial performance and accurately forecast team performance
  • Serve as an active member of the Sales Leadership team and build strong, collaborative relationships throughout the Sales, Support, Pre-Sales, and Success organizations
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Marketing, Product and Technology business leaders to ensure optimal support of sales activity
  • Assess the needs of our customers and gather user feedback to improve upon existing solutions and design and iterate sales process and operations
  • Live and breathe the Outreach values fueling our success and make us who we are

Our Vision of You

  • 8-10 years+ of SaaS sales management experience, with at least 1-2 years of experience in a 2nd line leadership role leading leaders. Preferably with a focus in or tangential to Customer Experience
  • Proven track record of maximizing strategic account penetration in a multi-product context. Multi-product sales experience will be critical as Outreach has transitioned from a single product to a suite of products in the last 12+ months. 
  • A core strength of yours is building high performing teams where accountability of controllables is a top priority 
  • Consistent track record of hitting goal and numbers (a proven track record of improving year over year team performance is a preferred)
  • Possess an understanding of SaaS financial metrics
  • Willingness to learn and be coached while also sharing best practices across the organization
  • Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself to high standards
