What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
HR & Administration
- Assist with onboarding and benefits enrollment, and manage FMLA/leave paperwork, I‑9s, background checks, and unemployment claims.
- Serve as primary HR point of contact: triage inbox, employee HRIS support, report/audit prep
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and support continuous process documentation updates.
HR Generalist & HRBP Support
- Support HRBP teams by coordinating workforce planning and organizational design documentation with leaders across departments.
- Assist HRBPs in facilitating performance management, succession planning, employee relations, and recognition initiatives.
- Shadow and support investigations and employee relations processes, partnering with legal and/or compliance when necessary.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support hiring needs and candidate experience.
Reporting & HR Metrics
- Assist in generating basic HR reports and dashboards; help analyze trends and provide insights to HRBPs.
- Help maintain HR documentation for audit readiness and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the future Scout Motors corporate headquarters, which is anticipated to be identified in 2025. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters after the location is determined. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- The responsibilities of this role require 3 days attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company frequently.
- Travel: Domestic and international travel required, approximately 30% of the time. Valid driver's license required. Passport required.

- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years in HR operations, administration, recruitment ops, or generalist roles.
- Familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems, adept at Excel, Outlook, data entry, and basic HR process management.
- Interest in supporting HR initiatives, employee relations, performance management, and organizational design.
- Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and discretion skills. Resourceful and attuned to confidentiality in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, approximately 30% of the time.
- Valid driver's license required.
