HR & Business Operations Experte/Expertin, (m/f/d)

Bridgecom Semiconductors is a growing tech startup specializing in 5G semiconductors, with locations in Munich and Linz. We are actively looking for a motivated HR &amp; Business Operations generalist reporting directly to our managing director in Munich. This role requires a balance of strategic HR knowledge and hands-on administrative support to foster a positive work environment and contribute to the organization’s growth. You'll work with the Bridgecom leadership team in Munich and Linz — a unique opportunity to gain direct insights into top-level activities.<ul><li>Management support in people management and general business operations.</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.</li><li>Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding.</li><li>Maintain employee records and ensure HR databases are accurate and up to date.</li><li>Administer compensation (incl. payroll), benefits, and performance management systems.</li><li>Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies for Germany and Austria.</li><li>Assist with training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.</li><li>Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation for management.</li><li>Perform local team assistance, office and facility management tasks.</li><li>Support public research funding and allowance (Forschungszulage) applications for Germany.</li><li>Administer invention disclosures and manage patent application processes with our IP office.</li><li>Monitor and manage daily incoming correspondence, ensuring timely communication with relevant public institutions.</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.</li><li>Experience in employee engagement, talent management, and policy development.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.</li><li>Experince with engineeering organisations in an cross side / cross geo set up is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.</li><li>Work experience in general office administration.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Fluent in English and German.</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Economics, or related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years experience in HR roles (generalist or similar).</li><li>HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.</li></ul><ul><li>The opportunity to work with the team on next-generation 5G semiconductor technologies tailored IoT and automotive markets.</li><li>A dynamic start-up environment with lean structures and high visibility.</li><li>An inclusive and diverse team in a thriving tech startup setting.</li><li>Individual growth opportunities in a growth company. </li><li>Continuous learning through collaboration with senior engineers and hands-on exposure across multiple areas of semiconductor development.</li></ul><span>We are looking forward to receiving your application including your CV and a Cover Letter.</span>
