We’re looking for a high-impact Field Marketing Manager to join our growth marketing team. In this role, you’ll work in partnership with sales and marketing to research, plan and execute first party and third party field events for the eastern region and EMEA. You’ll hit ambitious targets by developing a repeatable playbook of field event programs informed by ongoing experimentation and analysis of results while building and hardening our field marketing practice.
This role is based in our New York City office and requires in-office participation on Wednesday during regular business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The salary range for this position based in the New York City area is $110,000 - $160,000.
*Note - this is a temp to perm role. It will start as a 3-month contract position
Key Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise pipeline for our sales team through researching, building and executing field marketing programs including first party and third party events, both in-person and online.
- Handle the logistics and execution of all planned events, including developing event plan, choosing the best promotional channels, collaborating with external vendors for event logistics, managing branded merchandise supply, overseeing event staffing, and establishing lead goals and metrics for each event
- Run events and experiments across multiple cities and work in close conjunction with the Director of Field Marketing to maximize pipeline generation within our target list of accounts.
- Establish a repeatable program for field events in the Eastern Region and EMEA.
- Become the go-to expert for regional field events. Event types include but are not limited to: trade shows, partner programs, dinners, road-shows, meetups, executive briefings.
- Build, manage, and maintain the Events Calendar for North America and EMEA.
- Partner closely with our account development team to create event programs to drive campaign goals and pipeline
- Drive continuous improvement of our Field Marketing program with a consistent testing strategy and ongoing reporting
- Regularly analyze field events performance, utilizing data from both Salesforce to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments. Share results and insights with the marketing team and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a similar field of study (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing with an emphasis on events marketing or field marketing
- Familiarity with Salesforce lead management and reporting for tracking event program pipeline and performance results, ensuring they align with quarterly and annual targets
- Assess the impact and return on investment (ROI) of all event campaigns to gauge success and inform potential future investments
- A track record of driving results from field marketing programs that are creative and on budget.
- Strong communication skills and creativity: you’ll regularly contribute creative ideas for marketing programs as well as communicate your ideas and results across the company
- Cross functional leadership: You are skilled at working with the GTM team to determine the right balance between field events and deal acceleration campaigns
- Engage and support at events.
- Analytical mindset: you’ll dive into the data to report on campaign results, develop new campaign ideas, and constantly iterate and improve programs with a data-driven approach
- Strong detail orientation: You have the ability to plan and execute multiple field marketing events simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for quality
- A growth mindset: You’re an energetic self-starter who’s willing to roll up your sleeves and work hard in partnership with others to get the job done and drive results
