Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Environmental Scientist I to be based in Hagatna, Guam.

The responsibilities of the Environmental Scientist / Industrial Hygienist are, but not limited to:

• Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
• Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories. 
• Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance. 
• Entry-level position; may not require previous experience in addition to a bachelors degree.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates + 2 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Must pass a pre-assignment background check including driving record check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on projects with the Department of Navy or other Department of Defense Construction Projects that are similar in size and complexity.
