  • Position: Support Services Supervisor
  • Location: Roseville, MN
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

THE POSITION

The Equipment Support Supervisor provides direction and feedback to support the Equipment Management Specialist staff, ensuring that exceptional customer service is provided at the highest level to all customers, staff, and clinicians. The position assists management in leading the team to successfully help customers and Equipment team members across all sites.

  • Performs department 1:1 meetings with assigned staff.
  • Coordinates and conducts department meetings.
  • Coordinates staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Addresses/follows up on all continuous quality improvements initiatives that pertain to the specific department.
  • Participates in EHR development and utilization.
  • Monitors, develops and implements training protocol.
  • Completes audits pertaining to the department.
  • Identifies/implements new audits that would assist with improving the overall quality/efficiency of the department.
  • Reviews/updates work instructions and policies that are specific to your department.
  • Monitors internal processes and assists with requests that have been problematic.
  • Meets with Director on a regular basis regarding needs/concerns and day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Performs day-to-day job duties of the department as needed.
  • Maintains a cohesive work environment with all departments of PHS.
  • Trains and onboards new hires.
  • Develops and implements equipment related processes as related to new NOVA EHR across all sites.
  • Project work at the discretion of the Director.
  • Performs Equipment Management Specialist responsibilities as required.
  • Maintains compliance with HIPAA and PHS requirements regarding internal and external electronic medical record (EHR) access.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervises assigned staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of order processing systems; spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required.
  • Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!

We are dedicated to offering fair and transparent compensation to our team members. The range for this role is $49,290.99 to $54,219.01 yearly, based on experience and qualifications.
