About the role

TRIA is looking to hire a Surgical Technologist to join our surgery center team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Position Summary:

The Surgical Technologist practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating, critical thinking skills, commitment, creativity and caring.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs:  CST (https://nbstsa.org/examinations-cst.html) or NCCT (https://www.ncctinc.com/General/VerifyCertification.aspx) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
  • Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently validated CPR skills preferred
