Senior Director, Product Operations

The Senior Director, Product Operations will be responsible for driving the operational excellence of the Guidewire Product organization. This executive ((Reporting to the Chief Product Officer) will ensure consistent and rigorous operational oversight of the organizations key objectives, deliverables, and processes. Additionally, this executive will assume leadership of initiatives that span areas of the team that will occasionally materialize. 

Responsibilities

• Function as the CPOs operational counterpart to develop and communicate a compelling product vision and establish the operational rigor and oversight to put in to action.
• Lead periodic strategic initiatives that span the product organization and in collaboration across the company.
• Engage internal stakeholders as well as customers/prospects/partners to frame objectives and drive results.
• Develop and drive operational oversight across the product organization, including ongoing processes to establish product strategy, build roadmaps, and an ongoing cadence of product performance.
• Establish regular processes around Product information sharing & reviews with key stakeholders around guidewire Implement and manage product metrics to build a culture of performance, accountability and delivery at the company
• Create an environment of rapid experimentation and learning fostering product ownership of responsible team members
• Engage on case-by-case assignments to deep dive in the problematic business areas - diagnose problems, be a resource to the team to develop recommendations, assist with execution and deliver

Candidate Background & Experiences:

• 10+ years as an enterprise software/saas executive/senior level management leader (ideally in vertical saas, particularly insurance)
• Previous experience in Product leadership role(s) in enterprise software/saas.
• Flexible and agility to drive a wide range of strategic and operational initiatives.
• Strong execution bent and bias toward reliable delivery.
• Strong analytical skills and experience collaborating and aligning with multiple stakeholders.
• Prior experience leading existing teams and building new teams.
