Internal Projects Data Engineer

We are looking for a  Internal Projects Data Engineer to be responsible for internal data projects, quality of the data and provision of the necessary business insights to all of the Keboola departments.Internal data engineer is helping Keboola to be a data driven company.

What you'll do

• Internal Reporting & Data Support - Maintaining internal BI system with quality Data Model and providing Keboola team members with up-to-date data to help them with their daily and long term tasks. Constantly enhancing the scope and develop new insights based on the inside communication and needs of other team members. Help team members understand or find necessary data and create solution documentation and materials that allows internal users to understand the data and insights from them.
• Internal Architecture - Support others in the selection and integration of third party tools into our processes. Own the overall architecture and business data processes.
• Development planning - Preparing and selecting tasks to be fulfilled. They need to be organized based on the company priorities, aka. most important things which help Keboola grow further and users do a better job with more valuable outcomes.

The skills and experience you need to have

• Speak fluently in Czech and English (at the business level) and be based in Prague.
• Have 3+ years' experience in data engineering - maintaining and developing internal data pipelines.
• Fluent in SQL and basic Python knowledge to be able to deliver needed solutions.
• Experience with data vizualization tools. We are using Looker for internal reporting, but experience with others (i.e. Tableau or PowerBI) is absolutely fine.
• Ability to communicate with other team members, gather knowledge and feedback to design solutions based on provided inputs.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on company needs and setting up correct expectations.
• Experience with Keboola Connection is welcomed, as it's the main tool used for work with internal data.
• Knowledge of 3rd party tools and services used by Keboola in a level required for integrations and basic maintenance is a plus. If you are able to integrate couple tools, it shouldn't be an issue to lear to do that with a new one
