Principal, Platform Product Manager

What you'll do...

In this role as a Principal, Platform Product Manager, you should be skilled at demonstrating bias for action to deliver your product through the end-end product lifecycle, as well as working closely across product management, engineering, strategy, merchant technology, retail merchandising, supply chain & analytics teams at a detailed level. This is a user-focused product role, where the outcomes directly impact our end user experience.

The catalog team is on journey to transform our catalog into an enduring competitive advantage for the enterprise, Our focus is on building platform capabilities to support our merchandising organization. What's more, as a combined catalog, marketplace, and international team, we created a step change in delivering enterprise value in FYE 2025. Examples range from creating an omni, self-healing attribute scoring and cleaning platform launched in the multiple markets, to GenAI capabilities integrated into the seller item maintenance experience, to the stabilization of our compliance environment and the ability to publish/unpublish millions of products. 

What you'll do: 

Build the next generation catalog capabilities. 

Enable onboarding of Marketplace catalogs on to Walmart platform.  

Work with cross functional teams to unlock new features for Sellers and Customers.  

What you'll bring:

• Driving roadmap prioritization, vision, and strategy with internal 
  stakeholders within the specific product domain area.  

• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define success 
  metrics, drive go-to-market strategy and adoption, drive product 
  feature enhancements/iterations.  

• Conducting user research and surveys by synthesizing customer 
  pain points; analyze and visualize large amount of data into actionable 
  insights and be an advocate of metric-driven decision-making process.
