POSITION SUMMARY:
The QA technician routinely performs assignments in support of Anthony International’s Quality System requirements through all phases of design and manufacture to ensure compliance to blueprint and/or documented process of control requirements.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct First Article, In-process and Final inspections on Anthony manufactured products in accordance with blueprints, specifications, verbal direction and process control instructions.
- Generate and revise inspection plans and process control plans.
- Identify critical processes within manufacturing, Implement process controls and monitor process to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collect data and analyze for trends and root causes of deficiencies. Generate reports/charts, publish and post in process areas.
- Perform process audits, document findings and ensure implementation of corrective action(s)
- Continuously monitor and audit Anthony International manufacturing systems to ensure proper routing of parts and compliance to procedures and blueprints.
- Participate in the implementation of operator certification programs, and train operators on quality techniques. Professionally and effectively interact with internal process customers at all levels.
- Lead teams to implement process improvement.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of SPC techniques
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent blueprint reading/interpretation skills is required
- Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must have a customer oriented focus with a creative, aggressive and winning attitude
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree or higher is preferred
- 5 years minimum experience in a quality assurance/inspection environment
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, EXCEL and Outlook
