The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization is currently seeking a Business Operations Lead to join the team in Berkeley, MO; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; or Seattle, WA

As the Business Operations (BusOps) Lead, you will support the Chief of Staff (CoS) of the Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Chief Information Officer (CIO) organization to join our team. This role will work closely with the Directors, Vice Presidents and ID&S Chief of Staff network to build and enhance organizational operational integration with a strategic focus.

The BDS CIO BusOps Lead is a challenging leadership development position requiring versatility and resilience. The ideal candidate will possess the technical acumen required for this role while also having a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, and the ability to lead initiatives across IDT&S to achieve positive results.

In this high-visibility role, this BusOps Lead will report to the Business Operations Senior Manager/Chief of Staff supporting the BDS CIO organization and will provide direct support to the Directors and Vice President of BDS CIO organization, while partnering with the Office of Chief Information Digital Officer (CIDO) team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and gain trust across the immediate team and associated stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the Directors within BDS CIO to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the goals of IDT&S

  • Build and maintain operational rhythms, including regular meetings, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure alignment and accountability across teams

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of key projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices

  • Monitor and report on the progress of initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership

  • Support the Directors in preparing materials for executive meetings, including presentations, reports, and strategic documents

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the organization, ensuring effective communication and alignment on strategic priorities

  • Demonstrate versatility and resilience in navigating challenges and adapting to changing business needs

  • Drive actions to completion related to operations, risk, and portfolio/financial management

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience in an executive supporting role

  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or similar domains

  • Experience driving process improvements across the organization

  • Ability to travel up to 5%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 5+ years of experience collaborating internally across multiple organizations to achieve results

  • Experience managing and/or leading a team either formally or informally, with guiding, mentoring, and supporting team members

  • Experience in Program Management, IT, risk and compliance, and finance
