Job Title: Business Processes Senior Consultant

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to delivery of outcome of assigned projects and drive the collaboration with customers.  

 

Expectations and Tasks:  

Establishes a strong living network across different SAP units. Takes over positioning, explanation, and scoping tasks for non-standard services in the Virtual Project Room to support Front office, Solutioning and sales. Understands the customer business goals and build the engagement and service plan for projects along our standard journey and focus packages. Supports the execution E2E transformation projects from innovation identification, handover to run, up to the extension of existing solutions. Provides architectural advices for standard solutions. Responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned projects and delivery tasks. Resolves critical customer situations, production downs and escalations. Takes over lead role in delivery or development projects. Contributes to the industrialization of service procedure and SAP products with own creative and innovative ideas using latest technology. Leads through advanced technical or business skills for complete technology or industry area.  

 

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following: 

• Technical and functional knowledge in SAP Finance Accounting, SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounting) and SAP Credit card Payment Integration;  

• Application Support skills to support SAP IS-Utilities; 

• ABAP or JAVA; 

• SAP Root-Cause Analysis (trace analysis, configuration validation, change analysis, exception analysis and debugging); 

• SAP Netweaver Architecture and Database performance tuning; and 

• Performance tuning to optimize runtime of batch jobs or transactions. 

 

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.
