Head of Data & AI Technology

Data at NN is exploding and so are our AI ambitions. To keep everything secure, slick and scalable, we need a Head of Data & AI Tech in Prague who can lead the charge and make cool ideas production-ready.

You’ll run our global AI tech team, building cloud platforms, automating everything in sight and helping teams turn smart concepts into real business wins.

What you will do

• ​Support the strategic priorities of our international business units—customer acquisition, retention, sales growth and operational efficiency—through first-class data and AI technology enablement.

• ​Provide CI/CD, monitoring, FinOps and observability services that ensure smooth development, deployment and cost governance of AI platforms.

• ​Guide the transition of AI and GenAI solutions from experimentation to business-critical production, applying best practices in lifecycle management and reliability engineering.

• ​Shape enterprise-wide AI application architecture and reusable assets in close cooperation with our Centres of Excellence.

• ​Guarantee that all data and AI environments meet the highest standards of security, governance and regulatory compliance.

• ​Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary technical team, fostering innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.

• ​Promote automation and operational excellence, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation.

• ​Actively contribute to cross-Hub initiatives as a member of the NN Digital Hub management team.

What you bring

• ​University degree in a technical field and 5+ years in senior leadership roles.

• ​Deep expertise in cloud-native infrastructures, IaC, DevOps / MLOps / AIOps / FinOps and scalable AI architectures.

• ​Hands-on mastery of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Databricks, Azure DevOps, MLflow and advanced monitoring tools.

• ​Proven track record of moving AI/ML solutions from concept to production in a regulated environment.

• ​Strong knowledge of security, compliance and governance frameworks for data and AI platforms.

• ​Excellent English communication skills and the ability to inspire cross-functional, international teams.
